I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) — commonly known as Denpasar Airport or Bali Airport — is the primary gateway to the island of Bali and the second-busiest airport in Indonesia after Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta. Located in Tuban, just 13 km south of Denpasar and 5 km from Kuta Beach, it serves as the main entry point for millions of tourists visiting Bali each year.
The airport operates 24 hours a day and consists of two passenger terminals — the International Terminal (a modern L-shaped building opened in 2013) and the Domestic Terminal (housed in the older building). The two terminals are located within walking distance of each other, separated by the Festival Plaza, with a short covered walkway taking just 3–5 minutes to traverse. The airport has 18 gates in total — 8 in the Domestic Terminal and 10 in the International Terminal.
